Why We Built This
In a digital world filled with noise, notifications, and distractions, finding true Khushu (focus) in our worship has become increasingly difficult. Many Islamic apps today are cluttered with advertisements, push you toward in-app purchases, or quietly harvest your personal data.
We've used those apps ourselves. We know the frustration of an ad appearing mid-dua. We know what it feels like when an app that's supposed to bring you closer to Allah feels like a storefront. We believed the Ummah deserved better.
Ilmora was built from scratch with one intention: to create a digital space worthy of your ibadah. No shareholders demanding engagement metrics. No ad network requiring your data. Just one developer who cares deeply about the quality of your worship and your privacy.

Ilmora is not backed by venture capital. There is no corporate parent, no board of directors with quarterly targets, and no ad network with a stake in your attention. It's built and run independently, with no outside investors.
This was a deliberate choice. When there are no outside investors, there are no outside interests. We answer to no one except the Ummah we're building for. That means we can make decisions that are right, not just profitable. We can say no to ads, no to data deals, and no to features that compromise the integrity of the experience.
